Start or Sit

Sit Chuba Hubbard

After back-to-back 200-yard performances from Rico Dowdle, fantasy managers should be cautious in putting in Chuba Hubbard, who is probable to play on Sunday. Hubbard has been an average runner this year, averaging 4.1 yards per carry. Dowdle, on the other hand, has been racking up the yards, averaging 5.8 yards a carry, and is not looking to slow down against the Jets.

Sit Kimani Vidal

Since the injuries to both Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton, Kimani Vidal emerged as the clear starter in the Chargers’ backfield. However, the Indianapolis Colts pose a tough matchup for fantasy managers. Last week, Vidal only 22.8 points (PPR) against an extremely weak Miami Dolphins team. Due to the ball control that the Colts exhibit, Vidal will see limited touches against a decent Indianapolis defense. Expect an extreme decline in value.

Start Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Fantasy owners should be foaming at the mouth seeing Croskey-Merritt’s matchup vs the Cowboys. The Cowboys have been by far the worst defense in the NFL, allowing over 400 yards a game to opponents. Bill is coming off a loss against the Bears, where he saw a season high 43 snaps, well above his average. Look for his usage to increase with a stellar matchup against the Cowboys.

Start Carolina D/St

The Jets are coming home from one of the worst offensive performances that London has ever seen. Justin Fields looked more like an old blind man than an NFL quarterback, passing for a meager 45 yards while being sacked 9 times. Breece Hall was the only sorta bright spot for the offense. The Panthers’ defense has not been all that bad so far this year. Holding opponents to 24 points per game. Look for the Panthers to hold Justin Fields and the struggling Jet’s offense in check Sunday at MetLife Field.

Keep Travis Hunter

From a fantasy point of view, Travis Hunter has been practically useless. Averaging only 6.6 points per game (PPR) and not many opportunities, it has been tough sledding for Travis Hunter owners. The only bright spot thus far for Hunter is that he has hauled in 20 of his 31 targets. However, there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel. Hunter is coming off a season-high 59 snaps played against the Seahawks (150% increase). Keep Hunter shelved, but there is a reason to keep him on the bench.

Week 6 Recap

Start Rico Dowdle – 33.9 points (PPR)
Start Jayden Daniels – 21.6 points
Start Packers D/ST – 3.0 points
Sit Kenneth Gainwell – 9.6 points (PPR)
Drop Tyrone Tracy Jr. – 0.6 points (PPR)
